Famous last words...just started raining so all packed away and just waiting for the kettle to boil for a brew.

Camped next to a guy who was bike packing the south downs way. Did 60 miles of it yesterday and was ruined. He's heading off shortly to do the remaining 40 before the rain gets to bad.

    Did I mention it's raining?

Morning all. WFW and luckily the pedal in was dry. Hopefully the return will be the same. Only another 2 days of the noddy squad after today.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Morning. Was going to go for a pedal around but honestly can’t be farked. Going to list some sh!t on eBay instead, have a bit of a clear out. And then a bit of EdD work and work work. Might drag teen GTi out for a run in a bit, it’s been a while.

perhaps if he had been touring on his bike he wouldn't have felt so tired. i suppose it could be the extra pressure of bike packing.

Not sure what the day brings. I expect a crossword will feature. Coffee. Badoit. Dog walk. More Badoit.

Mini has a pal over for a sleepover, their final "bollocking" was at 10 past midnight, which finally got them to sleep. At least they didn't get up til 8:30.

I would have preferred lightly grilled parma ham instead of the strawberries.

How much milk did you drink?? Must have been going some. Bet you’ve been weeing all morning.

We had more of a walk than a run btw. Teen GTi’s head and knee started aching so I took pity.

I thought Polish women were like Italian women in that once they get married, they gain 7 stone, get a terrible hair cut and only wear flowery house coats and a grim expression of general contempt. Thus making their husbands sit in cafés all day nursing a single espresso.
