Upgrade time... do I need a new crankset?

Upgrading my old 10 speed Ultegra 6750 groupset for the new R8000 11 speed groupset.

Cash as ever is a little tight so hoping that I can still use the crankset (50/34 10 speed) with the new parts for a few months (front and rear mech & shifers).

Anyone here have any experience of the above?

    It'll work fine.

tbh, why would you go for an Utegra replacement when you can use any 10/11 speed ones?

but in the short term, stick with what ya got. easier to replace 'rings on it when you need to as well.

Yup, just wait until the glue on the crank cracks, then replace.

Maybe the 6750 crank is just too ugly?
Have you already bought the 8000 kit?
Nothing prettier out their? like Campagnolo?

Great, thanks Matt. If there's no compatability issue then I won't replace at all...
