Crushed seat tube?

Took broken band-on front derailleur off my 2011 Focus Cayo and am a bit worried. As well as paint coming off, there is a palpable ridge between the clamp arms, and also seems to be an indent opposite, on the crank arm side below where the clamp sits.

Is my seat tube farked? Will I die horribly if I ignore it?

It's not that bad - I think you are seeing the red reflection. But I was about to lube when I realised the derailleur cage was split.
I was however waiting for someone to mention the frayed cable.

The indent under where the paint is mullered looks too uniform to be damage. It's just the shape of the tube. Personally I'd use some red electrical tape to protect the frame and just put the new bits on.

^thanks for that, reassuring and what I was starting to think. The lack of paint damage over the indent was making me think that was how it was made too though

Lots of seat tubes have an indent where the front mech goes.

    Carry on cycling.
