I have two bikes, a specialized rockhopper2 2021 and a Norco Bigfoot 2021. I use one in the winter and the other in the summer. I just got a Saris H3 and was hoping to connect my fat bike in the summer and my skinny in the winter. I am having a difficult time finding a solution for getting the fat bike to work as it does not come with adapters that size. I have emailed saris to see if they have a solution.
Has anyone dealt with this or can anyone think of a solution. Currently I am thinking of creating a spacer but I think that has risks involved. Possibly damage the threads meant for the adapters the unit comes with.

I think you are going to struggle. I presume you have looked at the Saris website which states:
Bike Compatibility:
Thru-axle compatible for rear hub widths of 142 mm or 148 mm
Thru axles with fixed levers may require a Thru Axle Adapter
Quick-release compatible for rear hub widths of 130 mm and 135 mm
Compatible with Shimano/SRAM 8-11 speed cassettes
XD/XDR freehubs sold separately
They also offer adapters up to 148mm (https://www.saris.com/product/thru-axle-adapter) but the Bigfoot is 197mm. That's a huge difference (in relative terms).0 -
