Misaligned saddle D shaped seatpost

So was out for the usual club ride yesterday and thought I could feel the nose of the saddle catching my inner thigh a bit. When I got off the bike I noticed that the saddle was pointing slightly off centre to the right. Now I ride a 2016 BMC SLR01 which has a D shaped seatpost so I can't simply adjust. I've just swapped the saddle out for an old one and it is also pointing slightly to the right so it's not bent rails. Any have any ideas? Only thing I can think is I may have over tightened the saddle damaging the seat post where it meets the saddle clamp but there's no obvious sign of damage.

Thanks in advance, Richard.

P.S. Also trying to find a UK supplier of BMC spares seems near impossible atm.

I also have a bike with a 'D' shape seatpost (not a BMC) - on mine there is still some room for rotational movement, so if you loosen the post you can probably re-align if properly. Give it a try.
