Is this brake caliper fitted upside down?

And does it matter?
I noticed the front XT brake caliper on my wife’s new Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 appears to be fitted upside down, in so far as the bleed nipple is at the base of the caliper and pointing downwards, and the banjo bolt is on the inside of the fork leg.
I always assumed the bleed nipple would be on the upward side of the caliper., so if it were rotates 180 degrees, it would be in what i would have thought would be the “correct” orientation.
Is it incorrectly fitted and does it matter?

It's the right way up. They physically can't be mounted upside down because the bolt holes are on one side.1
