Ganna looks very tired. He had towed the peloton round Italy for 2 weeks

I'd love to be able to do rock climbing but just the thought of standing on a ledge like that makes my legs wobbly

Think it was via ferrata - so fixed lines to clip onto and aids at the toughest points (it looked like a staircase was chiselled out at one point on that rock), but that won't do anything for the wobbly legs...

Germany's lowest Alpine hut is in the Landscahftspark at Duisberg, and the via ferrata there reaches the giddy height of something like 4m above the ground if you ever fancy trying something a little lower

For the sake of the race I'm hoping Bernal loses a bit and maybe someone from outside the top 3 gets a couple of minutes .

To think, the organisers thought they might average 35kph for this stage.
    Currently over 40.

Almedia hits it hard from low down, Yates has now closed, taking Caruso with him.
Bernal 7 or 8 seconds back with his team.

Bernal doesn't look great. It's seldom a good sign when you look down at your gears.
