Physio visit day. Collected referral to yet another needle-in-the-neck experience. Got beaten up (or felt like it). Meh.

On way home, discovered one of my fave coffee shops was mysteriously shut, no sign. Hmm. Dropped into LBS to look at trainers, because I'm bored with my old one. Don't think I want to do any virtual racing (not done any real ones either in eons) but fancy some variability so a "smart" one it is. Limited range in stock however, and a bit expensive.

Shed-based activity for remainder of the (cold wet windy) day.

I thought that shed based activity was a given.

Been filling in the usual solicitors forms with the endless questions about what you're leaving and what you're taking with you etc. Boring...given up for this evening.

I’ve long toyed with the idea of buying a car to faff about with as a shed project, but either they’re too complex and I’d lose interest or they require too much repair/replace of bits for my budget.

I *nearly* bought an Audi TT Roadster, manual, turbo, AWD to do that with but…

Currently have a long list of jobs to do in the shed. My next purchase will be a GBFO table saw with stacked dado cutter, and a bunch of jigs to start major joinery work round here. There’s a very generously sized walk-in wardrobe room here which has almost zero useful storage built. I’ve drawn up a scheme to recycle a lot of the timber from other renovations done and make about 32 drawers and lots of hanging space.

Also need to rebuild the laundry as it’s a shambles, plus pantry/wine cellar storage, maybe the office, and some bespoke furniture pieces if I get any good at it…

Where did you get the oysters? Good?

Little disappointed you didn’t have jellied eels. 😔

Noble rot on Lamb's Conduit St. Half a dozen very good fat rock oysters.

One of the nibbly bits was eel, just not jellied!
