Hello,
I have a Hayes Dominion A4 brakes, won on Pinkbike advent calendar last year, and have them fitted on a hardtail.
Planning on buying a fullsuspension bike now, and transfer the brakes on it cause they are great.
For the front I will shorten the rear, but for the rear will need a new longer hose.
Hayes K2 Hydraulic hose kit is out of stock everywhere for now, and god know for how long,
and my only options are:
1. https://www.bike-components.de/en/Hayes/Brake-Hose-for-Stroker-p43870/
- should it fit? I think so, probably "outdated" hose material
2. Can I reuse the rear fitting, on the caliper from the original hose, on a new Jagwire hose that I can find it locally?
For the lever side, I know I'll need new olives, they are easy to find, the caliper end is the problem.
What are my options?

The jagwire kit is HFA601. The uk distributor is these guys and they appear to have slightly changed the kit to JFA601 on their site.

Couldn't quite figure it out how the hose and the quick fit adapters go on the Jagwire, until I saw the hose was pre-fitted with quick fit ends on both sides.
It comes around 50€ for a front and rear set, the hose and adapter kit.
But I think I'll go with the Stroker hose, it seems compatible, and will save a few quid.0 -
An update, the hose was exactly the same as the original on the Dominions with the same numbers on it, the only difference in the kit was the banjo bolt. The Stroker uses the larger one.
