    will seem quicker as you have a whole new drivetrain and hubs but glad it worked out for you. But secretly we are all eyeing those Princeton Carbonworks wheels that Ineos are running

    But would you ride them?
    I had them on a bike for about 2 1/2 years after having Gatorskins on before. Got 1 puncture.

    Yes they aren't the "liveliest" of tyres but they did the job I bought them for by enlarge.

    Let's face it if you're buying them you're more bothered about function i.e. puncture protection rather than performance.

    Each to their own.
    I have a set of Open Paves that have lasted 2 summers and 5000 miles to date, lots of rough B-roads including one recent off road excursion*. Zero punctures. Other experiences are available.

    *It used to be a road but has been storm eroded and I certainly wouldn't drive my car over it.
