From golden girl to homeless bum
An interesting article in the Seattle Times from 2019 about Golden Girl Rebecca Twigg who (at the time of the article) had been homeless for 5 years. Post race career she earned a degree in Computer Science but was unable to hold down a job.
Controversially Twigg was involved in the US Blood doping that marred the 1984 Olympics.
