SRAM Crankset - need advice pls

Hello,

I got a second-hand gravel bike setup with the SRAM Force groupset. Current setup has 172.5mm cranks and I'm looking to change it to 165mm, which suit much better.

Any idea where to source such cranks without spending a fortune? Any non-SRAM cranks which could be compatible? I've always been a Shimano guy, so don't know as much about SRAM I'm afraid.

Do I understand correctly though that this is a GXP bottom bracket?

Thanks

Not GXP, looks more like one of the push-fit variants. This is a GXP: https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/bb-gxp-a1

It is GXP. GXP refers to the interface between the crank and the BB, press fit GXP is still GXP: https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/bb-pfgxp-a1

OP, if Sram cranks are prohibitively expensive, there are options, but you may have to change the BB too. Sram have changed to DUB mostly, but you could fit anything as long as you get the right BB to go with it. The chainring will be a standard 110mm BCD, which many cranks use.

@whyamihere this is hugely helpful, thank you.
Would you be so kind to point me in the right direction, as to what replacement crankset I could fit?
I found the chainring, which is a "Hope Retainer Ring 110mm BCD 5 Arm", availabl in various sizes.
