Sunny. Will pedal. Bit nippy. Dunno what apparel to wear.
Dunno which bike to take. Dunno which race to enter. Will toss coins.

I was thinking just that lately, it probably wouldn’t bother me if it was raining and miserable, just accept it but it looks really nice. Bright, blue skies and dry. I’m not one of these hard people who can take the cold, no matter what I wear. I’d love to go on a long ride, but the chill puts me off. Got a puncher (turned out to be two) last week on the top of the Wolds. My fingers were white by the time I got going again and that was in bright sunshine.sungod said:'ning

Groundhog Day - walk hounds, sup coffee, then tidy, box, sort and chuck stuff. Not bad really once you get stuck into it."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Bore da.
Been for a ride, headwind and side wind all the way. Didn’t get work done yesterday but on the flip side I did adjust the seat on my best bike and replaced the bar tape so win-win. But that means work today. Never mind. Treating the fam to a maccie d breakfast. Can’t say I never give them anything, even if that is clogged arteries and a sugar high.0 -
Morning folks,
Traditional slow start before chaos later. I'm a year older than I was yesterday it seems. Out for lunch then to the old dear's for cake. Later is beer festival1 -
Happy birthday Veronese!1

Is it your actual birthday with the Official one later in the year?
Lazy day of pottering, watch bits of LBL, coffees x n. Sweet peppers and cucumbers ready to pot up. Must be spring time, even with that bleepin' cold wind.1 -
Actual birthday today 'loon. One a year is enough as I'm aging fast enough thanks.
Just had a couple of unexpected presents, text from the NHS inviting me to book my second jab 😁 and the stuff I ordered from CRC has arrived early.0 -

Bright and sunny but nippy. The back of my house is a sun trap and lulls you into a false sense of warmth but you then go off and question what you put on. First ride in shorts today though I slapped Castelli foul weather cream on my legs - they were fine but forearms and hands were cold throughout despite a hefty base layer and a Perfetto ss top.
Not ever known such a dry and cool April.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
On the plus side, the Colnago was a dream to ride.
62 psi seems to be the sweet spot.
