MTB Clipless shoes dilema

I have Crank Brothers Clipless pedals, Five Ten Kestrel shoes. My problem is with the shoes, they are too stiff. Before clipless i had Five Ten Freerider and I loved them.

Any MTB clipless shoes on the market that don't feel like a pair of dutch wooden shoes ?
