Wheel tyre combo - what do I do?

So I have a quandary
I have a set of Vision Team 30’s and a set of Hunt 4 Season’s. A set of conti 4000’s 25mm, a set of Vittoria Rubino G2.0 in 25mm and a set of Gatorskins at 25mm. My 2 bikes are a De Rosa Planet which I use for my long weekend rides and my Giant TCR0 which I use as my 10 mile round trip to work and back bike 3 times a week. But which tyre and wheel combo for each bike?
What a first world problem to have.
Thoughts?

Try each combo for yourself and see which one you like.

4000 size big and Gators are like Bambi on ice, so Rubino up front and 4000 on rear for less aero drag, which also puts tyre with less rolling resistance in best place. With Visions on bike you like to go go fast on.

    Sell the Hunts

    Buy something decent

Use them on the bike you like best

Vision Team 30's with the Rubino's on the commuter
GP4000's on the Hunts which seem to be lighter
    Gatorskins in the bin

    That wasn’t what he asked.

He’s hardly gonna get a decent price for them especially if a potential purchaser listens to you.

Does any potential purchaser pay a decent price for Hunts?

    Absolutely no idea.

    Ask the expert.

They don't because Hunts aren't very good new or used.

    Point still stands though.

If the OP wanted advise about selling his Hunts to buy something "better" I'm sure he is more than capable of asking for your wisdom.

He did though in not so many words though my man.

he has an opportunity to better himself and his situation here, one that CANNOT, MUST NOT be ignored.

Sorry I’ve caused such an argument , I’ve not got the money to start buying more wheels, so I take it Hunt wheels aren’t well thought of, so I’ll leave them on the work bike and just change the tyres for the conti 4000’s

I know you cannot & must not ignore any thread that merely mention Hunt wheels but as the OP didn’t mention anything at all about selling anything we’ll agree to disagree.

They're fine. Keep using them. Certain people really don't like them for reasons and take every opportunity to point this out and tell people who have then to get rid of them.

The owners of certain bike related brands have pissed and crapped in the Fails tea and coffee, namely Hunt, David Millar & Yanto Barker, probably amongst others. So take his views with a large handful of salt.
