Currently have a set of Magura MT8 Pro brakes, as seems to be a common issue, the threads in the leaver brackets are starting to strip so time for a change up
Considered going for Hope X2 or E4 as a replacement but also considering a Shigura set up to save a little cash and because I’m fairly happy with the Maguras as they are
Question(s)....
Anyone using a Shigura setup? Pros? Cons?
What levers should I be looking at if I went the way of using Shimano branded units? My only “it MUST have this feature” would be metal housing so as to reduce the likelihood of stripped threads followed closely by “I’d like to have as much adjustment in reach and bite point as possible if that’s an option”
