Just been on the phone to the doc again.

My knee that i injured the day after boxing day - the wound has opened up again, for the third time since it happened.

Have to go and have a blood test, even though they took a swab last time at the docs.

    picture please!

I tried to get it in to the northern hemisphere by rotating on my phone by 90 degrees. The forum had other ideas.

If you take pics with your phone oriented in landscape, that seems to fix the problem.

Jeezo Elbow - you could have warned me.

That's one fugly knee. I had an open wound on my left leg for 3 and a half years. That wasn't pretty but given you don't have underlying immune problems(?), it will heal.

As MF would say; go see your Doc. Make noises (other than ouch).

Nasty looking Elbow. Had something similar as a kid, they thought it might be Psoriasis but think it turned out to be scabies. Obviously some kind of infection in there.

As an aside, and serious question, do you mind if I use those piccies as part of a presentation? If its ok, whats the back story?

I'd be worried about the bottom one. Did Mrs elbow treat you with vet drugs, whilst 7 months gone? She's probably trying to make you a seahorse. Look after the kids and so forth.

    Yeah no probs.

I came off the bike week after crimbo, grazed hip and knee and smashed up left shoulder which was my main concern.

Grazed scabbed over, but then in first week of Jan the wound became infected and opened up doc prescribed a weeks course of ABs and it cleared up.

Month later, the area just blistered up and then opened up and doc cleaned up and applied a series of iodine dressings over a course of a week or more. Again in cleared up.

Then a couple of days back, it blistered up again, then burst. Doc's have prescribed another dose of ABs and I started those this evening.

    Nos da

Been a silly busy day at work. Tried out the new turbo this evening. It was decent.

My first job was at the local chippie. Got fired when the owner’s son came back from uni - must have been around 1985/86. Bugger all jobs going in the sleepy little north wales town I grew up in.

@elbowloh - looks sore, not nice. But on the other hand, looks like you have a bright future in knobbly knees contests. Something to look forward to there.
