Hi guys.

Got around 3.5k to spend.

Looking at

Santa Cruz Hightower (Alloy D) 2021
Nukeproof Mega Alloy Comp 2021
Nukeproof Mega Carbon Elite 2020
Nukeproof Mega 275 Expert 2020
or similar.....?

Currently on an old Lapierre Zesty 26er 140ish

Heard Santa Cruz for UK riding brings some bearing issues but then apparently theres lifetime warranty on that, just pay labour.

Also still deciding between 27.5 and 29er.

Doesn't have to be from that list, but what would you guys be looking at for 3.5k?

Even though that's a lot of money, i know it isn't really that much for bikes these days.

Rides vary between all mountain miles and enduro rooty steep. No big gap downhill stuff though.

Have a look at the offerings from Bird. They make very good bikes. Designed in the UK with UK conditions in mind.
