How do I tell if I am driving?

Like if I was driving a car, how would I know at the time that I was actually driving, or just on the toilet or something? I'm not making this up. About 30 seconds in:

It was an abbreviated sentence from someone who doesn't speak English very well and was a bit shame faced and nervous in front of the camera.
'I didn't realise I was driving...' whilst using a mobile phone.

He did add that he 'had to accept it'.

No I did not. But would have posted it anyway because I felt like discussing something. Mars is also old, really old but is also a subject of interest for many. Just saying people seem to think because something happened a long time ago that it should no longer be discussed. It's something I don't get.

The reason that person gave was outrageously daft. So daft as to be amusing.
