Rs500 50/34 power meter
Hi
I have a shimano rs500 50/34 crankset and I want to install an entry level power meter. I have seen both the 4iii and the shimano stages, which are just a crank arm. However, none of them refer to this crankset as compatible
Do you know if it is compatible? If not, which power meter can I buy that is compatible with that crankset?
Thanks

The 4iii and Stages come in different versions for different crank spindles.
Your crank uses a Hollowtech II bottom bracket, so the spindle should be a standard 24mm Shimano one (first photo here: https://wheelsmfg.com/crankset-tech ) You just need to get the version that matches your crank and swap it over.
You probably want this one for Stages: https://www.stagescycling.eu/power-meter/shimano/105-r7000.html
or this one from 4iii: https://shop.4iiii.com/products/left-side-precision-powermeter-ride-ready?variant=28538691125327 (US site but I'm sure you can find it elsewhere).
Also make sure you get a crank length to match the one you already have.0
