Canyon Spectral - serial number??

I have had an accident this weekend as a result of the chainstay part of my frame snapping while riding?
I have seen online that this has been an issue with American Canyon bikes, but not UK bikes. My issue appears to be the same as those of American bikes however.
The bike is around 2 and a half years old.
Having spoken to Canyon this morning, they have asked for a serial number, which they say is on the frame on the underside of the bottom bracket? There is absolutely nothing in that area on my bike? Can anyone advise further?
Need my bike fixed ASAP.
