Shimano GRX812 rear derailleur - alternatives

New Gravel bike one week old - 11-42 cassette, wrecked the rear derailleur. Being told 27th August for part. Does anyone know of any other options to fit that will work with that range? This is depressing

If you're struggling to find a GRX rear mech, best suggestion I can come up with that I presume works, would be a medium cage 105/Ultegra mech such as https://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-105-rd-r7000-rear-derailleur-11-speed-117065.html and an 11-34 cassette such as https://www.merlincycles.com/shimano-105-cs-r7000-cassette-11-speed-117086.html

i think the XT MTB groupsets use a different pull ratio

You can use an 11 speed MTB mech using a Shiftmate: https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/cables/jtek-shiftmate-8/

^ in that case you could couple that shiftmate to https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/shimano-xt-m8000-11sp-rear-derailleur/rp-prod135893 - it's got a 39 tooth range (11-40) the long cage is rated to 11-42 on a 1x11 set up
