Forme MTB’s

edited February 2021 in MTB buying advice
Afternoon. I’m new to the forum and would just like a little advice. I am looking to buy a new MTB. I have been riding Giants both road & MTB’s for the last 25 or so years . My local independent bike repair shop has started selling Forme bikes. I know they are British but that’s about it. Can anyone tell me more about them, quality etc. Basically, arethey any good? ( Black Rocks HT2 ) Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Cheers

Brother has a forme alport.1 29er hardtail that he swears by. He's had it a few years and recently changed the forks and wheels for some better ones. He uses it for cannock, sherwood, dalby, llandegla plus commuting with no problems. Quality wise its stood up to his 18 stone bulk for at least 4/5 yrs. Local trail centre uses them as their hire fleet.

  • 👍👍 thanks
  • Also, tubes or tubeless? Mainly canal tow paths!! 👍

Entirely up to you, for someone who's perhaps not mechanically savvy stick with tubes. Some people get hung up and over complicate tubeless. PS I run both on my bikes with no issues on either.
