Who will be the last World Tour to get a victory 2021 edition?

Nine teams have registered a win already this season so ten haven't and that means we can do a poll. Only UCI .1 races and above count. No National Champs and no KOM/Points/Youth etc. jerseys

Some big hitters like Cofidis, AG2R and Israel SN already out of the running

I didn't even know wanty are world tour, so I've gone for them. Movistar was tempting but there'll be a race in Spain at some point soon.

It's that time of the season where you look at team names and wonder what they used to be called and then have to remind yourself who is riding where. Went for Wanty but Bike Exchange didn't look great and DSM look weaker this season.

Wanty only managed 4 wins last season and haven't really done that much to strengthen their team.
Danny van Poppel is clearly their best bet for a win but beyond him they don't seem to have much to offer.

  • I didn't choose Wanty as some of their riders are in excellent form from the cyclo-cross. Quentin Hermans in particular

No obvious contenders this year I'd say...

  • Scratch Jumbo Visma.
Jonas Vingegaard (or Chris Harper if you are named Carlton Kirby) took the long uphill drag in the dust at the UAE.

Movistar and Wanty both have a man in a 5 up breakaway, contesting today’s stage.........

    ......... and they finish 4th and 5th! :D

Updating this as Chaves won for BikeExchange the other day.

Astana, Movistar, Intermarche Wanty make podium by not making the podium.

Valverde scores a late winner for Movistar, beating Lulu and Astana in the battle to avoid the podium top step

Movistar get a win, ahead of Astana in 2nd and 3rd.

Astana v Ned Boulting in the final

Or maybe I mean Intermarche Wanty

Astana v Ned Boulting in the Intermarche Wanty? I'm confused, but I'll go for Boulting.

Is it me or does it seem that most teams popped their cherry earlier than in previous seasons?

Wanty are pushing the AG2R record for longest wait for a win, which was Tour of California in May (2015?)
  • Well, that was one hell of a way to finally get one.

    Worth the wait I reckon!
