New brake blocks/shoes

My Dolan commuter is in need of the above. I’m using a set of Fulcrum ally wheels with Tiagra callipers so are there any better brake shoes about or shall I just stick with a Shimano set from Amazon?

Cheers

Am I right in thinking that Tiagra aren't cartridge type brakes? If so, then to change to Swisstop/KoolStop you would need cartridge holders as well.

With that said, +1 for KoolStop Salmon - especially on a commuter

Tiagra according to the OP that look like cartridge but only the OP in this case can tell us what he has.

Seems rather cheap but I’ll get a couple of pairs ordered up. You reckon they’re decent?

I use those on one of my older bikes. They are pretty good, especially in wet conditions. They are quite soft though, so can be shot through after a couple of decent dirty wet / gritty rides.

If you are planning long term then get the 105s and then replace pads only in future.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

yup - i use the carbon versions and they work really well, reviews for those and people's opinions on here say tgey are pukka.

cheap due to economies of scal and no marketing.

their cables and bar tape are dead cheap but v good.

imagine how hyperbolic and expensive Hunt's pads would be....
