Sealant Topup?

Does topping up the tubeless sealant depend only on time or does mileage effect the sealant as well?

I normally top up every 10 / 12 weeks, just to be on the safe side, I use time rather than miles only because I don’t record my mileage

If you want to know how much sealant is left ,Put your bike on your workshop stand overnight with the valves at the bottom. If the wheel wants to rotate put some sort of weight over the valve. In the morning remove the valve core and use a thin screw driver as a dip stick .Poke it down the valve until it reaches the tyre to see how deep the sealant puddle is.

I take it you would release all the pressure first the night before you do this or else I would imagine your face to look like the star attraction in a bukkake movie?

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.
