Hi everyone, I am looking for advice or info on replacing my 48T single chainring on my hybrid city bike. The bike is a Revolution 'Courier'. Revolution were made by The Edinburgh cycling co-op.
The gear system is Shimano Alivio 1x 8 - speed .
I have found a few Shimano (FCM411) 4 arm 48T chainrings online in the UK but due to Brexit, none of the suppliers are shipping to Republic of Ireland , were I live.
Does anyone know how or if , I can obtain a non Shimano brand 48T single chainring for Alivio 8 speed gears?
Any help would be very very welcome!

Try one of the continental online bike shops. Any 4 hole 104BCD outer chainring should work, if your bike is not fitted with a chain retentsion device, consider a narrow/wide type chainring.
