Mapping out a route in the forest

Hello,
My name Kevin from Kenya am new in this forum I need someone advise on mapping out a route in the Mt Kenya forest what things should I consider while
Pick up the map in mountain

    There's an app called OS maps. You can upgrade it and it will do forest maps. Unsure if it works in Kenya but might be worth checking out?

    OS maps only cover the UK. The OS - Ordnance Survey - is the UK mapping agency.
