Can anyone help me re: Pedals - Take apart and reassemble?

Has anyone accidently unscrewed the tension bolt on their pedals so much as it's messed it up and lost it's tightening?

Is there any way of disassembling/reassembling?

    I was looking at the wrong disassemble.
    The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
    I am not sure. You have no chance.
