ERG mode woes

Hi forum people,

I have an annoying issue with ERG mode during zwift workouts - its just not engaging.

The workout screen shows it as 'ON', but to no effect, and even if I switch between incline and ERG modes, it still doesn't kick in.

Any ideas ?

I am using a kickr with climb on apple TV & companion app

Many TIA
Regards

Has it ever worked? If so, has anything changed?
Are you paired directly to the Apple TV or via the companion app?
Does erg mode work if you control the trainer by starting a workout from the Wahoo app?

It used to work fine. Nothing has changed ?
The kickr and cadence run via apple TV, my HR is connected via the companion app.

I have to admit that I have never tried to start a workout via the wahoo app, so that is something that I can try out I guess ;-)

Try running all devices via the companion app - I had issues splitting BT connections between the Apple TV and iPhone app - read elsewhere it doesn't like it for some reason. Appreciate it was working fine before but think they've dropped an update the past week or so, which maybe has messed it up?
Is the Kickr showing as both a controllable trainer and a power meter when you logon?

Have you connected something else to the Apple TV using Bluetooth?

I think I read somewhere that it can only support 2 bluetooth devices at once, so if you've recently connected say a set of wireless headphones it might have ditched the kickr connection but kept the cadence connection.
