Hi All,
My Ultegra 6870 FD is becoming very slow to move either way. It completely stopped working yesterday, even though the battery showed charged (the RD also worked). Then I charged it and it came back to life, but the shifting is very slow. Any thoughts? I have been riding it over the winter period here in the UK

It's probably dirty and full of salt. You need to give it a good clean at the hinges or it will breakleft the forum March 20231

I had exactly the same problem....really slow moving onto the big ring. I flushed it out with wd40. Works fine now.1

take it off, and woosh it around a bucket of hot soapy water
spray gt85 in the pivots to blast the water out.
Refit it
give it a clean every now and again

probably best to not put a Di2 mech into a bucket of water!!!Colnago Addict!0
