Ciao
Cervelo Soloist from who knows when - one of the grey anodised ones. Satndard Cervelo forks, Cane Creek headset.
Totes obvs a new colour - powdercoated gloss black, decal kit off the 'Bay, 2 Pak'd on top. Immaculate, bomb proof and cost pennies.
Ultegra 11 speed chain, shifters and mechs that I had lying around because its a winter bike, I don't mind if it gets smashed up as its Ultegra and its meh. It works fine its just fugly, fat and disposable. Its meh but its a winter bike.
Record Skeleton brakes, Miche Superlight 11-23 cassette, Campy hubbed tub 404s. All shifts and works perfect. Conti Sprinter 25mm tubs at a billion psi because I'm Italian and that's how they are meant to be ridden. Planet X carbon/Ti skewers.
SLK 53/39 crankset, Keo pedals. The crankset is flippin' lovely.
SuperZero stem (110mm), 40mm Prime Doyenne aero bars with some £7 Prologo tape from Wiggle. Again, all spot on.
Cages I found in a box.
£20 carbon seat of Amazon that now weighs 70g (80g out out the box so I Dremelled some off). Comfy as.
7.1kg all in.

Very nice MF , you’ve made a good job of that0

That would make a nice bike to race on - fast but nothing you have to be too precious about if it gets a knock.[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0

thank you! its cost basically nothing as its all bits out of the loft apart from the new 'bars and cables but seems to have come together nicely.lincolndave said:Very nice MF , you’ve made a good job of that

Am thinking Ronde next year with it - if it gets smashed up apart from the wheels theres nothing I'm too precious about.
Its quite short compared to my S3 so good crit bike.
Smash it up, shrug, kick it straight or lob it in a skip.

Are you running tubulars on Zipp 404s in the winter? Full marks. You must live somewhere with much nicer roads than me!0

tbh, they're just wheels and tyres and there to be used - no point keeping them for good if i fall off and die whilst riding rubbish.....The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.
