Only been up since 4am rather than 2am, so that's a bonus.

Stuff around the house, put up new staircase, hand some pictures, unpack more boxes/bags.

Morning, -5 at the moment and it feels colder in the wind, tigger walked, some bike maintenance required before indoor ride, roast beef later.
    Have a good day

Cloudy here and just above freezing. Forecast says it's going to warm up a bit, at the expense of sunshine and clear blue skies.
Nothing planned for today apart from a run at some point.

Walk hounds and then run. Not sure what else the day brings, all depends if the wife is visiting her mother

Started ok, faffed in shed a while then out to shops for stuff. Bought new toolbox for bike things.

More faffing, till I'd had enough and went riding instead. Hordes of holiday-makers about here at the moment which kinda spoils the vibe a little but still a lovely late afternoon for a pedal.

Tomorrow not so promising: 36 deg C forecast, with wind.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed. Walking over to the old dear's and then riding back on the bike I'd lent to the nephew over Christmas. Might get the EPO to lower my ears, will have to start wearing hats if that happens.

That's not far off our forecast (in Fahrenheit).

Dogs walked, good thing about the frosty conditions is that it's frozen all the mud and gloop where we go. Now contemplating food before doing adminny stuff. Maybe go for a run later on.

    Ciao!

    Blimmin' freezing here.

Well, got up, sat in a car park whilst bambino had tennis, lunch lunched, saddle changed on Soloist with 180g weight saving. Decided to get some Tufo Lite tubs to save another 200g but as the seat post is full of epixy and steel bar MF is thinkibg its fruitless. Currently 7.1kg so lets see.

Yeah. Set out at +1, returned at +2. First ride since last weekend because of the ice and freezing fog which seems to be lifting finally. A feature of living in the Valley.

As suggested in another thread, I need to find my ski gloves which are somewhere, not been used in ski mode for more than a decade. Fingers have thawed sufficiently to permit this tapping on screen.

Hot soak to come then perhaps watch Jose's Spuds get a lesson in kickball.

Good walk to the old dear's, walked slightly further in than the brook in the hope of it being less muddy. Found a path I used to ride quite often when I was a kid, it's changed a bit since then. Bumped into one of my cousins that I haven't seen for a while. Most people were walking on the paths perpendicular to the one I was on, so I wouldn't see anyone for stretches, then see loads as I crossed another path before returning to tranquility.

it'll be a "no" to your last 3 questions because they don't exist unfortunately.

as for the man himself, who knows. He is like the Scarlet Pimpernel of bi-cycle forums.
