Link to food emporium please V.veronese68 said:Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was enjoyed. Just waddled towards Kingston with the EPO, went to a new food emporium that has opened a while ago. Lots of European food stuffs, so got some bread and pastries and wandered back. That's as far as she can walk at the moment.
Lap of RP is quite a hike H³, no wonder Mini is pooped. How far is that, 8 miles round the perimeter I reckon. Might walk to the old dear's tomorrow.
Daughter has just started crocheting, I reckon it got the name as a misspelling of people getting crotchety when they try it. Might be an idea for me to retire to the garage.

Obviously I couldn’t leave the house after this mornings run, but if I did and went for a walk I would take a pictures like this

Speed sensor on rear wheel, or power meter linked to Zwift is my guess.0 -
Went for a hike up a local hill in the snow

Given that the roads were sheet ice, and heddlu have vowed to crucify anyone driving anywhere for a jolly there were a f*ckton all over the lanes and maybe 50 or so people up there.0 -

If you've already got a power meter you're laughing, just install zwift on your phone (free trial) and see if it connects.
If no power meter you can get by with a cheap Bluetooth speed sensor, if you can get hold of one.

Trainer is a controllable smart one so does power etc, it’s linked via Bluetooth to the laptop. It’s not that difficult, just a £10 dongle off Amazon makes it all work.thistle_ said:

once the travel restrictions ease, there's definite opportunity for organised peasant shoots to bring in the touristsmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
I don't get pheasant / grouse shooting at all. I just don't see how you can derive pleasure out of it without feeling a bit of a cnut.0

They are a bit fat, slow and mostly hand reared and some 12 bore cartridges have a spread of about 6 feet.elbowloh said:I don't get pheasant / grouse shooting at all. I just don't see how you can derive pleasure out of it without feeling a bit of a cnut.
That's how you can drink Gin and still hit them.

Wait a few more years and your biggest problem will be getting them out of bed on a morning."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Problem is, we started pretty late with the whole children thing. I'll be 60 by the time he hits 18!
I'll not be winning the dad's race on school sports day.
Do they still do that?0
