So, increased component prices plus less components coming in plus increased courier and postage costs.

    Brexit - get in!

But possibly a glut of half decent 12 month old bikes coming up for sale at rock bottom prices soon.

Covering costs is fair enough but I hope there is transparency.

After last year, I vow to take absolutely no prisoners. I will absolutely pay more to support those who have supported us.

eh? what you on about Willis?

    what prisoners?

100% this, there are NO upsides that I have seen. Any that are raised by the johnson it would seem, turn out to be nothing to do with leaving the EU, and is just his usual pack of lies.

I'm generally a very optimistic person, but the last few years have kicked 95% of it out of me.

I envy those of you with family living in the EU / the possibility of an EU passport.
I have a Mauritian passport, so all is not lost, and comforting to have that option, quite nice cycling over there too :-)

We got the vote and decided we wanted out of the E.U. The Gov. are p#ssed off putting it to the vote in the first place so they're gonna make us pay in every way for our decision?

    ish.

the govt are so useless at frickin' everything that they hashed up the trade agreement so the people are now saddled with this shyiet.

£50 here or there won't affect Rees Mogg and his £100 million fortune in Ireland or that twatttt De Pfeiffal Johnson and his family millions, but you, me and every other bod with a normal wage will get screwed.

Apparently Campag have now stopped shipping to the UK. So if you’ve bust your cork screw and aren’t on dry January, it’s a piece of string with knots in to open the wine now.

Yeah! Great having blue passports we can't use, isn't it!

Never but that is not the point. Once upon a time a long time ago, well last week. If you found Shimano stuff cheaper in Holland, Germany or the rest of Euro land than Wiggle/ Chain reaction etc. You could just order it and after a day or two it would turn up at your door.
Now you can’t, so they can not bother with discounts because there is likely to be just one company importing Shimano.

Not much point blacklisting companies that can't actually sell you stuff anyway! 😉

When my Dad had a new hip he didn't half complain about the pain, the limping, the physio, the stuff he could no longer do before the operation. He had forgotten all about the infringement of his previous life that he had grown used to. A period of adjustment and with some inconvenience and discomfort followed. Then he took up ballroom dancing with Mum, which he hadn't been able to do for over 40 years. :)

Believe it or believe it not, the above is a true story. o:)

Apparently once we've got over the initial shock of brexit, we're going to realise what we've been missing out on. And stop cycling and take up tango.

Was going to buy new pedals. None available. Strip down and clean existing ones, lob in some grease, rebuild, reassemble. They'll do. Money saved. Brexit bonus. 🤔

Im thinking of a Bird cycles bike but not quite yet as works cycle scheme is a bit tricky to get approved at £3k.
If I actually had cash I would go BTR/Cotic/Stanton.
