Morning SG, On shift today so freeze, work, freeze drive home sleep hopefully. Currently very dark -4 out and car looks like frosted cake and roads look like skating rinks. Last night's light rains going to make drive in to work interesting. Stay safe all.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

Morning, well we have not frost as yet but a cold northerly blowing, early ride today , will probably spend the rest of the day getting warm, the turkey carcass has been made into soup so some of that should do the trick.
    Have a good day

Meant to be cycling but as it’s snowing (slightly) I think it’s best not to go

Run runned. Dusting of snow on the ground but surpringly no ice anywhere.
Forecast says we be in the middle of a 2 hour blizzard but it's must be bit cold and dull outside.
Need to go and try to fix the car at some point.

Ironing work clothes. Phuckme, has life really come to this?

MF needs a tour somewhere tasty.

Sun shining here. Lazy start, wait for the temp to rise a bit and lift the frost / ice risk before get out for the save-my-sanity ride. Prob leave it a couple of hours yet.

    In the meantime, more coffee...

No snow (or ironing) here. Cloudy and 4C. Have left Mrs. 666 to take the dogs for a walk so a peaceful rest of morning beckons, especially as Stropteen isn't up yet.

Well that was easy, some numpty (me) forgot to plug the MAF sensor back in properly after the service in September.

    Tasty or toasty?

At least ironing will make do as a poor man's sauna.

Did the same with my Alfa back in the day.

Still the best and most fun car I've ever had, a little 145 cloverleaf.

I've had beemers and mercs (company cars) for last 10 years and didn't really like them. Tbh, the Vitara I have now as a family car brings me more joy than the beemers and mercs.

Cleaning up this morning, had friends round for drinks/dinner yesterday, a fair few empties laying about today..

Walked dog, fitted new light in entranceway, spent a couple hours pruning some shrubs and more to do tomorrow. All in glorious sunshine and 22 deg... :-)

The skirt and top are fine, I'm just having trouble getting more padding in the bra to accentuate my assets

gonna veet in a bit to get winter smooth legs for added tips.

Both, tbh. Nothing worse than being cold in all of the MFs' books.

V true. Am just hoping that TDV doesn't see the iron out and think that I may want to iron anything that isn't strictly 100% essential to my life.

I may then go and sit off and look at my bicycles to waste some time.

MF has just asked MF to drop a big box of Chinese Burns off at the post office for you. MF trusts that you will do the necessary when they arrive.

A couple of balloons works well.

Probably as a precaution I will set fire to the box first, for sterilisation purposes..

    Afternoon folks,
Slow start has been enjoyed, should make more coffee. Decorations are coming down today, that's worth celebrating. Other than that a small walk with the EPO and a bit of pottering.

Which one of you altered the weather. BBC said 40% chance of light snow this morning, it's been revised to 5/6 hrs plus heavy snow now. Might make tomorrow's drive into work interesting.

It was fine here when TDV and MF popped to the garden centre (#middleclass) but when tbey got out it had dropped a gazzillion degrees and its now flippin' freezing.

  • All fine here in the sunny South. Hone made butternut squash soup with homemade cheese straws. Great until my lad felt sick, I told him to go to the toilet so he went to the upstairs one well, he tried to but threw up all over the stairs. An afternoon cleaning up sick wasn't on my list ofctodays chores.

Ride ridden. Temp lifted to +2 so no ice but lots of gloop.

Did my best to dob in some shootists. On way out passed a couple of females with shotguns (broken open) and what sounded like a radio comms thing. They were at the side of the track at the top of a hill looking out into the fields. I left the vicinity quickly.

Came back the same way about 1.5h later and there was a police car sitting there, driver talking to some walkists, had they heard any shots? Somebody had grassed up the shootists as Covid rule breakers. I gave him my info. Also asked him if Tory politicians were ok to be in grouse shooting parties.... apparently not unless they are in the same family bubble. Inbreeding has its merits then.

Longish walk in Richmond Park with mini, Mrs and dog. 10km apparently, which is a pb for mini. She hardly moaned once.

Trying to summon up some enthusiasm for returning to work on Monday.
