I STILL haven't ridden it. I am hoping to get out one day this week now the roads are just salt dust rather than that awful toothpaste like dampness

Yeah, it's great actually. Bit stiff over really crap surfaces, but pretty good otherwise.
I had a rattle in the handlebars, that turned out to be steerer cap/bolt a bit loose. All sorted.
