Yes, I know.
Work has just been off the charts this year, with no-one really knowing what to expect.
Every year, over the last 6 work has grown by approx. 15%, then this year it has been 50%+. You can't really plan for it, just roll up your sleeves, dive in head first and lead from the front.
I've actually enjoyed it, but it's been brutal and there's still all the returns to contend with too where people have ordered things in multiple sizes then want to send them back after Xmas day.
Luckily with WFH prevalent at least people will be home when we call round, but I imagine we'll still be delivering expected deliveries in January too which will make it fun on the doorsteps when folk start complaining that their parcel is the most important delivery and why wasn't it delivered sooner.

Normally don’t drink Monday-Thursday 17:00, but as it’s Christmas I’m making more of an effort

Busy day considering I'm off work. Seems I'm getting lots of jobs from 'er indoors so am having to pretend to work instead. Will deliver some Xmas cards by hand soon (well in the car) then have a well earned drop of tramp fuel.

Evening folks,
busy day of wfw, I could do with a rest. Not working like CB but still busy. Managed to wobble in on the CX bike, couldn't move my hand for a moment when I arrived. Guy covering goods in was a bit squeamish, looked like he was going to throw up when I cracked my wrist to free it off. I was just happy I'd managed to ride in.

Get a dog. Problem solved - either cat stays away or keeps visiting and ends up saving you on dog food bills.

Ours almost caught one that was trying to sh1t in the garden. It almost jumped into the pond trying to get away from them

I shall build a sentry bot soon as I can be bothered. Raspberry pi zero, ir camera, ir sensor, couple of servo motors and a co2 cartridge powered water gun should do.

Regardless of garden size, we don't have a cat crapping problem in ours The one they nearly caught nearly crapped itself though.
