Suntour xcr 34 forks vs raidon?

I have just bought a Canyon Stoic 2 which has the xcr forks but they don’t seem to get as good a review as the raidon which come on the cheaper Voodoo Bizango I disregarded. Any advice welcome. Is there much difference? Thanks.

The Raidon forks on the Voodoo are the 2018 version so there's a lot of reviews on them. The XCR's on the Stoic are more recent so less information just like the amount of info you can acquire regarding the Stoic in general.

The XCR's on your Stoic have wider diameter (34mm) stanchions compared to the Raidons 32mm width which will make them laterally stiffer and more responsive to steering input on the trails.

I also believe the Voodoo has a non tapered headtube and the Raidon fork fitted to that has the non tapered steerer too.

Good decision on the Stoic over the Voodoo for a lot of reasons not just for the better forks it has fitted. You made a good choice and got the better bike. 👏
