Shared internet from iPhone on indoor trainer?

Hello everyone :)

I want to buy a trainer, but have no internet in the storage room which I will be using for training. Does anyone here have experience with using the iPhones shared internet function for connecting the computer/device to the internet? Will this work? Thanks! :)

    As long as you have a phone signal and don't mind using data* then it works very well.

    *I doubt the connection itself will use data but chances are whichever app you are using will do.

    I used it while working away from home. Extra data was much cheaper than getting broadband. Depends on your phone signal strength though.

    Yes, looked at the prices for mobile broadband here in Norway and quickly excited the page. Brilliant that it works with shared internet, signal strength no problem. Cheers! :)
