Shimano BH90 lever with BH59 caliper compatibility

Hi,

I was wondering if a Shimano BH90 lever type with BH59 type caliper configuration would work?

I understand the differences between BH90 type and BH59 type are the barbs.

Can i get away with using a BH90 hose with the correct corresponding barb type for the lever and caliper?

I've seen such setups before just wanna get some confirmation if it would work.

Yes, you can use either hose but you have to make sure you have the correct barb for whichever you use.
The external diameters of the hoses are the same so the same olive can be used. However, BH59 has a 2.3mm internal diameter whereas BH90 is 2.1mm.
