Authors who cycle

Initially - thank you everyone for the reies to the "Pop Stars" thread - they have helped me prove a point. Keep them coming in!
Its all turned a tad cerebral around here, so....
does anyone know of any authors who cycle? And we mean proper authors, not the type who write that bog standard one off "I rode the Tour route on a recumbant" type that you get for Chrimbles, read then give to a jumble sale or biography writers. No journos.
We're talking Woolfe, Dickens, people who do those books with embossed covers that you find in Waterstones and on the wife's bedside table.
