  • So, first day outside of lockdown and the shops are still mostly empty. A few brave shoppers can be seen scurrying around trying to find bargains. However, we've been smashed, workwise, once again.
I think a pivotal moment has been made this year with online shopping becoming the norm and bricks and mortar stores a thing of the past.
Think I might take some retail space in our local shopping centre and turn it into a grey store to hold other retailers goods so we can deliver for them without actually having to go to their individual shops to collect adding another revenue stream to the business model and making one hour delivery windows both quicker and cheaper than Deliveroo and their ilk.

Lots of people and businesses got confused by the 2 pieces of misleading guidance, with one of them saying lockdown was up to and including today.

Yeah was bizarre. Nipped over the border to collect something I'd clicked (I wanted them to deliver but they wouldn't) and there was loads of traffic, cars parked everywhere but nobody in the shop and hardly anyone walking around the town centre.

Should i do some work or make another cup of tea?

    Tea.

I'm another year older today. I'm not sure whether I'm officially "late 40's" now.
Happy birthday. Hope you enjoyed the birthday tea.

Check out the PPP thread. It's still there.
Bump it to prevent cropping. Cheers.
