2002 Headshock Ultra Fatty lockout failure

Hello!
Looking for some help on a Cannondale 2002 F600 Headshock Fatty fault.
My lockout is faulty, and although the suspension is working, its clunking. At first I thought the Headset was loose, but its solid. I live in Bournemouth and cannot find anyone in the south coast who can assist with a bike of this age. The bike is in mint condition so I really want to get it fixed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
