Vintage (?) Raleigh and Falcon

Hi all
Is anyone able to identify these bikes?
I've been helping my father-in-law clear out his garage, and he's sure they must be worth something as they are old. However I need help to figure out what they are so I can research.
First is a lovely green (with vintage rust) Raleigh
The second a Falcon
Happy to post more photos but couldn't see any obvious model names etc.
Thank you!

if the raleigh is hub geared, there is likely a date stamp on the hub - that'll will at least be a starting point. Looks 60's to me (not that I'm an expert!)Insert bike here:0

That Falcon frame looks similar the ones we could cheap from Falcon in the early 80’s. Our club was sponsored by them.0

Thank you for the date stamp tip. Finally got round to looking and after clearing off a lot of dirt / grease it says Sturmey Archer 57.
I assume that means 1957?
The falcon has an oval chain ring. I doubt that makes it any more desirable but I thought it was slightly interesting0 -
The Raleigh has the trendy rear caliper placement. Nice.0

I think my brother had that frame as a 5 speed road bike around 1988?0
