I gonna head out east and gonna kick some cockneys. Or go for a walk by Hollow Ponds in Epping Forest with the dog and "accidentally" bump into Mrs H³'s mother, who will "coincidentally" have birthday presents for mini and Mrs in her car, whose joint birthday is on Monday.

Today according to sg. I do like the odd corners of the internet his thread titles take me to.

When SG retires, his thread titles will be longer than his posts.

Bloody weather. Went mild as the evening wore on and it was too warm. Begged Mrs P not to put any more wood on and then later in the night, the skies cleared and there was a frost.
    Brrrr.....

Now the sun is out. Will see if postman brings shiny new NOS Campag Record headset for threadless steerer, saddle and brake cable - inner and outers to finish off the C40.
    X Fingers.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being enjoyed. A bit of pottering and tidying to be done, nothing too strenuous. EPO wants to get Christmas decorations down from the loft tomorrow, unfortunately her desk is where the tree needs to go. Visit the old dear later.
My NOS threaded Record headset arrived the other day, will be a while before it's needed though.
Better go and make another cup of tea, don't want to rush into anything.
  • Lovely day, light breeze and lotsa sunshine. Installed a couple new light shades in the dining room to finally get shot of the stained glass crimes-against-taste jobbies that were there.

Whacked a second coat of enamel on old steel frame workbench being rebuilt. I wasn't entirely convinced we actually need another workspace in the shed, but seems I was wrong. 🙄 This one will be about 3.5 * 1.4 metres or so. It may become the fixed tool platform for drill press, bench grinder, chainsaw sharpener, wheel building stand and more...

    Took bike for a ride.

Been out with the dogs in the countrysoide, no pics unfortunately. Managed to avoid getting sucked into the 'Black Friday' shopping frenzy as there wasn't really anything I needed - having to stay off the grog last night probably helped.

Trip to the tip soon and then get supplies later.
