Had the above since new – BB and Headset now loose as bearings have never been changed. Have one previous experience of changing on Whyte T130 and was fairly painless.
However, apart from knowing the BB is 68mm i cant find any other details for what to order for BB or Headset bearings. I also don’t know if i need to know anything specific to this bike in terms of do i need specific tools or process significantly different to the Whyte.
i was looking at this as a BB option? https://www.wiggle.co.uk/race-face-x-type-team-xc-bottom-bracket
The Orange site isnt very helpful so would appreciate any help
Here is the bike for reference

I have a Clockwork Evo with the exact same X-Type bb, RF Ride cranks, and headset requirements. The X-Type bb you linked is the one to buy.
The Race Face Ride cranks will need a crank puller to remove driveside crank arm, something like this ISIS type will work:-

Then a Race Face external bb removal tool like this or similar spanner type:-

Can't say if a Shimano bb tool has the same spline pattern needed to lock into the Race Face pattern or not?
This headset is a suitable replacement for your Clockwork, I bought a similar one for a previous bike and still good 3 years on:-

Replacing the headset is a standard affair and requires knocking out old cups, replacing fork crown race and pressing in new cups.0 -
that's brilliant i really appreciate you doing this1
