Just in from a very cold and blustery 25 miler around Radbourne Common to the north-west of Derby to test ride some new lights I've bought. Now trying to warm up with a piping hot mug of coffee. Doesn't seem to be working. Think a hot shower is called for.
Might have to bite the bullet and invest in some proper autumn/winter clothing otherwise my nocturnal riding might be curtailed somewhat.0 -

Why po faced?
Me and my friends used to do these long winter walks (with pub stops on the way). One of them was a chef and he'd prepare something before well, left, which he'd put on to slow cook. When we got back to his place 8 hours or so later we'd all have an amazing meal. Often it was something like that lamb stew.0 -
