No it it isn't you daft censored . The centre of the Sun is about 15 milIion degrees. Lets assume they knew that. The surface of the Sun does indeed hover around 5-6k degrees. But nobody seems to mention that the Corona, an envelope of plasma surrounding the Sun is in fact 1MILLION DEGREES. Anyone who has direct contact with Corona should contact their local mortuary and not bother telling them a cremation is necessary.

On a more serious note, the difference in temperature between the surface of the Sun and it's Corona is an ongoing mystery. A mystery that's currently being investigated.

So does that mean Corona is hotter than Sol, where do they measure the temperature of Sol? Also, how does the lime in the top of the bottle survive?
