Cycling songs

Songs that reference cycling, either in the title or lyrics, or both. Here's some that spring immediately to mind:

Queen - Bicycle Race
Pink Floyd - Bike
Harry Dacre - Daisy Bell (Bicycle Built for Two)
The Mixtures, Mungo Jerry - The Pushbike Song
Kraftwerk - Tour de France (A whole album of tracks with titles like Prologue, Étape 1, Étape 2 etc.)
Kate Bush - King of the Mountain (OK, no idea what this song is about, pretty sure it's not cycling, but still…)

Any advance on those?

It wasn't the song Light My Fire, the pun was the band The Dawes as opposed to The Doors. See what I did there?
How about Tubular Bells Mike Oldfield?
    Tub Thumping Chumbawumba?
    Chain Reaction Diana Ross?
    (chain)Stay with me The Faces?

    I'll get my coat.

When i saw the thread title, I thought it was going to be "songs you sing whilst you're cycling".
When son and I last did the RideLondon, we started up Box Hill and some people were playing music at the end of their driveway (CDs etc, not live). As we passed, it was "Take on me" by Aha. Perfect tempo to climb with and since then whenever we've been on a climb, one of us only has to whistle a bar of it to get a smile.

I wish I had enough breath to whistle while climbing.

I can't do it for long and I have to admit I don't do a lot of big climbs. However, I have found that it makes you control your breathing, so that you feel like you're actually getting something out of a lung full.

And it really annoys people if you do it while you pass them :)

  • The list grows. Instrumentals… Here's a couple more

    Allen Devine - Bicycle
Tangerine Dream - Three Bikes In The Sky
(two for the price of one there, now I think of it.)

Given there's already been been some "chain" songs, I can't believe no-one's mentioned The Chain - Fleetwood Mac.

Tho I like F1 as well as cycling ;)
